# Installing on Windows

> Step-by-step installation guide for Duels+ on Windows

## Download the Launcher

<Tip>There are **two official sources** where you can download the installer.</Tip>

### Website

1. Navigate to the [Download page](https://duelsplus.com/download)
2. Locate the **Launcher v3** card
3. Press "Download for Windows"

### GitHub Releases

1. Navigate to the [latest release](https://github.com/duelsplus/launcher-tauri/releases/latest/)
2. Under **Assets**, download the file ending in `.exe` (`Duels+.Launcher_X.X.X_x64-setup.exe`)

## Install the Launcher

Once the installer is downloaded, double‑click the `.exe` file to run it.

<Note>
  Windows will likely display a **"Windows protected your PC"** warning; click **More info** and **Run anyway**.
  This happens because our binaries are not signed, and we [cannot afford](https://www.digicert.com/signing/code-signing-certificates) to sign them.

Follow the installation wizard, and the **Duels+ Launcher** will *automatically* launch when installation is complete.

## Sign in

To proceed, the launcher will ask you to sign in using your Duels+ account. You can either:

* Continue using Discord
* Enter your verification token

## Launch Duels+

Finish the onboarding. Once you're in the "Home" tab, press **Launch** and the launcher will *automatically* download the latest Duels+ proxy release.
